Cactus Crunch (CC) The purpose of this pedal was to get clean tones out of an otherwise slightly broken up amp. What? Yes, I decided to try and get clean "Bell Tones" out of a Vox or low powered Tweed Fender amp with the CC. Internally this pedal runs at 18 volts through the use of what is refered to as a "Charge Pump" ic chip. This is to get maximum head room out of the circuit's Active Bass & Treble Controls. This pedal should be powered up by 9 volts only and comes with a 2.1mm negative tip DC power jack or battery snap, for such purposes.
